9-13-2011 MINI STREAM AMIDST FOSSILS AND FLOOD-SWEPT ROCKS

The time before, I took many mini-waterfalls amidst a line of rocks carved by the exposed road between the concrete flood walls that formed a walkway to the stream…. (you’ve seen photos of damage)

Here is another treat. The rocks in this area are shale with many fossils and other rocks brought by glaciers from the north when the Finger Lakes were gouched from river-beds (the ice moves faster on mud).
